B- For Candidates from Industry and Profession: Master’s Degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering (Communications) and with professional work, which is significant and can be recognized as equivalent to Ph.D Degree and with ten years Industrial/Professional experience of which at least five years’ should be at a senior level comparable to that of Professor would also be eligible. Desirable : Administrative experience in a responsible position. The post is reserved for OBC candidates. Qualifications: Essential : A. Educational : Master’s degree in Commerce or Social Welfare or Social Work or Economics or Statistics or Psychology or Education of a recognized University or equivalent. B. Educational : Degree in Mining Engineering from a recognized University or equivalent. B. Experience : Ten years’ experience in a supervisory capacity in Metalliferous Mines or a Government Department dealing with Metalliferous mines. To inspect and to collect the samples under Environment (Protection) Act, 1986. 10.(Ref.No.F.1/318/2009-R-IV) Three Assistant Administrative Officers in the Indian Bureau of Mines, Ministry of Mines . Of the three posts, one post is reserved for OBC candidates. The posts are also suitable for Physically Handicapped[Orthopaedically Handicapped/Locomotor disability/Cerebral Palsy(One Leg Affected/Both Legs Affected)] candidates. Desirable : i) Degree in Law. ii) Knowledge of Merchant Shipping Laws and work connected with regulations of sailing vessels and traffic under sails. Desirable : Master’s degree in Measurement & Instrumentation/Instrumentation & Control/Electronics Engineering/Process Control & Instrumentation Engineering/Medical Electronics/Mechatronics/Control System or equivalent from a recognized University/Institution. DUTIES & HQ: Same as in Item No.13 above. 20.(Ref.No.F.1/312/2009-R-III) Three Lecturers(History)in Jawaharlal Nehru Rajkeeya Mahavidyalaya, (JNRM), Port Blair, Andaman and Nicobar Administration . Qualifications : Essential : Educational : i) Good Academic record with at least 55% of marks or an equivalent grade of B in the 7 point scale with letter grades O,A,B,C,D,E and F at the Master’s Degree level in History from an Indian University or an equivalent Degree from a Foreign University. Explanation : The term ‘Good Academic Record’ means at least Second Class with Fifty percent marks in Graduation degree. ii) Should have cleared the eligibility test(NET) for lecturers conducted by the UGC., CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC. NOTE - 1: ‘NET’ shall remain the compulsory requirement for appointment as Lecturer for those with Post Graduate degree. However, the candidates having Ph.D degree in the concerned subject are exempted from ‘NET’ for PG level and UG level teaching. The candidates having M.Phil degree in the concerned subject are exempted from ‘NET’ for UG level teaching only. NOTE -2 : Relaxation of 5% may be provided from 55% to 50% of the marks to the Ph.D Degree holders who have passed Master’s degree prior to 19th September 1991. NOTE-3 : ‘B’ in the 7 point scale with letter grades O,A,B,C,D,E & F shall be regarded as equivalent of 55% wherever the grading system is followed. NOTE-4 : A relaxation of minimum marks at the PG level from 55% to 50% may be provided to the candidates who have cleared the Junior Research Fellowship Examination conducted by UGC/CSIR only prior to 1989 when minimum marks required to appear for JRF examination was 50%. Duties : Conducting classes such as Lectures in History, tutorials, seminars, examination etc. at UG/PG level. Any such other works assigned by the Institution’s Head or such other competent authorities. HQ : Anywhere in A&N Islands where a Govt. Degree College exists. 21.(Ref.No.F.1/230/2009-R-II)Five Deputy Drugs Controllers (India) in the Central Drugs Standardization Control Organization(CDSCO) under the Directorate General of Health Services, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare . Out of five posts, one post each is reserved for SC & OBC candidates. Qualifications: Essential: A. Educational: Master’s degree in Chemistry/Pharmaceutical Chemistry/Bio-Chemistry /Pharmacy / Pharmacology of a recognized University or equivalent. B. Experience : Twelve years’ experience in dealing with problems connected with drug standardization and control of drug standards or in the manufacture or testing of drugs. Desirable : Experience of administration of the Drugs and Cosmetics Act and the rules thereunder and/or of manufacture and testing of drugs and/or dealing with problems connected with Import and Export of drugs. Duties : To assist DC (I) in uniform implementation of various provisions of Drugs and Cosmetics Act related to Import and Central Licence Approving Authority. To coordinate with the State Licensing Authorities with respect to joint inspection and assist investigation of adulterated/sub-standard/spurious drugs moving in the inter-state commerce. To organize statutory meetings of CDSCO such as Drugs Consultative Committee and Drugs Technical Advisory Board etc. 22.(Ref.No.F.1/275/2009-R-I) Sixteen Assistant Professors (General Medicine), Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. Central Health Service(Teaching Specialist Sub-Cadre) . Out of sixteen posts, three posts are reserved for SC, one post is reserved for ST and four posts are reserved for OBC candidates. Qualifications: Essential: A. Educational: i) A recognized Medical qualification included in the First or the Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (Other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of Educational Qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfil the conditions stipulated in Sub-section(3) of Section 13 of the IMC Act, 1956. ii) Post-Graduate Degree in the concerned specialty i.e. M.D.(General), M.D.(General Medicine), M.D.(Med & Therapeutics), MRCP, specialty Board of Internal Medicine(USA). B. Experience : At least three years’ teaching experience in the concerned specialty as Lecturer /Tutor / Demonstrator/Registrar /Senior Resident after the requisite post-graduate degree qualification. NOTE : I: The Medical qualifications possessed by the candidates should have the recognition of the Medical Council of India. In case of medical posts other than Allopathic system of medicine, the qualifications should be included in the respective Schedule of the Act governing that system of medicine. The proof thereof may be attached. NOTE :II: In so far as Post-Graduation Medical qualifications awarded by Indian Universities are concerned, they should also find a place in the Schedules to Indian Medical Council Act, 1956, as amended from time to time. NOTE-IV: In the case of qualifications in Super-Specialities (M.Ch./D.M.) except in the case of holders of D.M./M.Ch. of five years duration, the holders should have obtained M.D.(General Medicine) or M.S.(General Surgery) or an equivalent qualification as prescribed by the said council in its recommendations on post graduate medical examination. NOTE-V: In the case of holder of D.M./M.Ch. qualification of five years duration, the period of Senior Post graduate residency rendered in the last part of the said D.M/M.Ch. shall be counted towards requirement of experience. NOTE : VI : Holders of specialty Board of USA qualifications should complete the entire requirements of the Board concerned. NOTE : VII : Completion of compulsory Rotating Internship Certificate, Registration Certificate, an official document showing name of College/Institution from where degree/diploma has been done and official document showing name of the University and College from where teaching experience has been gained to be furnished. Duties: To impart theoretical and practical instructions to Under-graduate/Post-graduate medical students. To conduct and guide research work in the specialty. To render patient care in the Specialty. Any other duties that may be assigned by the authorities from time to time. ANY OTHER CONDITIONS : The other conditions of service will be as laid down in the CHS Rules, 1996 and other rules in force from time to time in particular :- (A) Private practice of any kind whatsoever shall not be allowed including any consultation and laboratory practice. (B) The candidate selected will, if so required, be liable to serve in any Defence Service, or post connected with the Defence of India, for a period of not less than four years including the period spent in training, if any ; provided that such officer: i) will not be required to serve as aforesaid after the expiry of 10 years from the date of appointment or from the date of joining the service. ii) Will not ordinarily be required to serve as aforesaid after attaining the age of 45 years. 23.(Ref.No.F.1/277/2009-R-I)Seven Assistant Professors (Orthopaedic Surgery) in the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Central Health Service (Teaching Specialist Sub-cadre) .
